Survey Results

Many people in America are already informed on the results that contaminated water can have on developing communities. The number of educated people just keeps escalating to help people stay informed about what is going on in the world. I decided to try to find out how many people knew about some of the effects of not having clean drinking water can be. I asked "What can happen when people do not have access to clean water?" The answers that I put as answers were; diseases arise, health issues, low food production, all of the above. I decided to ask this question because I wanted to know if people knew what can happen when there is no clean water to drink clean and cook with. This was a very easy question that I assumed everyone would know the answer to. Unfortunately only three people answered my poll and that did not allow me to see how many people knew about this issue and its results. All three people answered all of the above and being educated that was the answer that I thought everyone would answer. I acclaim these people because they know what happens when people do not have access to clean water. I decided to extend the date the poll closes to see if more people will answer the question.

Globalwater.org is a non-profit organization that is focused on providing clean water and sanitation facilities for developing countries. This website engrossed me with its easy to use technology.The website allows you to see the different projects that they have done all around the world. It shows people how to build sanitation facilities and clean water systems. Most importantly it is full of information and a variety of ways to learn about this issue along with many different ways to get involved and help out with this organization. This altruistic organization believes that not having access to clean drinking water and sanitation facilities are the main causes of poverty, disease, and hunger. This website is intended to change the lives of people allover the world and they have proof that what they do works and helps. I believe that the people involved with this website are altruistic people that want to make a difference in the world. This is only one of the many websites that want to make a difference in the world and provide clean drinking water to as many parts of the world as possible.
